BakerRipley offers GED Classes that serve as a High School Equivalency (HSE) program, providing educational assistance to Neighbors without a high school diploma. These classes are open to everyone, free of charge. Our GED classes cover a range of subjects including reading, language arts, math, science, and social studies, to help prepare individuals to pass the GED test and achieve their educational goals.

Our classes run for 8-10 weeks and meet online, in-person, or with a hybrid style. You can choose between the following class schedules:
- Monday and Wednesday 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
- Monday and Wednesday 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
- Tuesday and Thursday 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
- Tuesday and Thursday 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Frequently Asked Questions
Individuals 16 years or older who have not obtained a high school diploma from a school in the U.S. or another country are eligible for our program. Additional approvals and documentation are needed for students under the age of 16.
Our classes are self-paced and offered in a hybrid setting, in-person, small group and online. We customize our instruction to students’ reading levels and cover all subject areas that will be covered on the GED/HSE exam.
Students are encouraged to attend classes and prepare for and earn their GED/HSE at their own pace. Some students earn their GED as quickly as a few months and for others it takes them a few years.
