Small student-teacher ratios create a welcoming environment with individual attention. Every child matters—and knowing that, they thrive. 

Enrollment in our schools is free and open to all students age 3 through 8th grade. There is no cost to families, and no interview required.

BakerRipley Community Schools is the only district in Texas aligned to the National Community Schools model. This model has four pillars as its foundation:

    At BakerRipley we provide a holistic environment, supporting the child’s needs at school and at home.

  • Expanded and Enriched Learning Opportunities

    We offer after-school programming throughout the school year, as well as a robust summer school program for pre-K through 8th grade students.

  • Collaborative Leadership and Practices

    Our leaders and teachers participate in ongoing professional development. Parents may take advantage of BakerRipley’s Adult Education and Enrichment programs.

  • Active Family and Community Engagement

    Our schools function as neighborhood hubs with food and health resources and senior services.

Additional Info

Students are taught using one-one technology, small group instruction, and high-quality instructional materials. Extra-curricular activities include dance, cheer, technology, physical education, art, and foreign language. 

A Spanish immersion program is offered for students in kindergarten through 3rd grade. Bilingual classrooms and services are available at our elementary schools as well.  

Families of our students have full access to BakerRipley’s extensive programs and services, including adult education, health clinics, immigration services, tax preparation, and much more.

Enrollment in our schools is free and open to all students age 3 through 8th grade. There is no cost to families, and no interview required. BakerRipley Community Schools have an open enrollment charter. We accept all applications.
