About Houston’s Fab Lab

Located within BakerRipley’s East Aldine Campus and open onsite every day, Fab Lab Houston is one of only 10 Fab Labs in the United States. The 5,000 square foot facility opened in June 2018 thanks to the generous support of Chevron and the Fab Foundation.

Designed to cultivate a community of makers in Houston, Fab Lab Houston provides resources and opportunities for collaboration, entrepreneurship, STEM/STEAM education, and professional development. It’s a maker space for youth and adults to engage in creative pursuits and hands-on learning opportunities.

Fab Lab Membership

Fab Lab membership is separate from the East Aldine Community Center membership, and includes access to the Fab Lab during all open hours, feedback from expert mentors, early sign-up access for workshops, and discounts on additional services and resources.
